The Flight Information Display System (FIDS) is a system for airport construction based on industrial computers and display technology. It can be applied to airports or similar scenarios, such as large bus stations, high-speed rail stations, and ferry station…etc. The main purpose is to display real-time arrival and departure flight information to improve airport operation efficiency. FIDS systems are generally deployed at check-in counters, lounges, and arrival halls to bring customers a better travel experience.
Application requirements:
The FIDS project requires a high-performance and stable-operating industrial computer system to process high-resolution images, video ads, and some text data to provide real-time display information. The computer is required to be as small as possible, and optional multiple mount methods, can integrated with different size displays & monitors. In addition, it should be workable under high temperatures in an enclosed space, and run stably under low power consumption without fans, ensuring no-failure operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
