Background:
In face of global warming, regulatory bodies of various countries are imposing stringent environmental protection regulations to encourage power generating enterprises to shift to eco-friendly and cleaner energy resources. As a result, solar power has become a viable alternative to fossil fuels, providing an efficient and renewable energy source.

Solar photovoltaic systems are surging worldwide and are playing a key role in the transformation of energy. However, most photovoltaic power stations are unmanned and automated, geographically scattered in suburbs, large power plants, or industrial buildings, so as to sustain the industry’s continuous growth.


Industry Requirements:

The photovoltaic power generation system equipment usually needs to be outdoor and then exposed to high/low temperature, humidity, dust and other complex environmental conditions. Also it has to operate for a long time without interruption to effectively perform the remote monitoring of the equipment, without maintenance or only limited times of maintenance. According to such requirement, a fanless embedded industrial control system will be very useful and necessary, considering the reliability to work across 24/7 with lower power consumption.

TAICENN Solution:
TAICENN TBOX-2835 is a newly release high-performance fan-less industrial Box PC, it deploys Intel Whiskey Lake Core i7-8565U quad-core 1.8Ghz CPU, delivering high performance but low power consumption. TBOX-2835 supports 1 *M.2 PCIe and 1* 2.5 inch SATA SSD or HDD as storage options. The supported rich I/O include 2* GLAN (Intel chips), 2* USB 2.0, 4* USB 3.0 port, 6* COM (Optional with 2*RS485/8*GPIO). The power input is DC 12V, optional with wide voltage DC 9~36V Input. Large aluminum fin heat sink on TBOX-2835 can distribute the heat effectively and quickly, ensuring the longer reliability and life-span of the system. TBOX-2835 is compatible with Windows10, Win11, Linux. And it also supports dual wireless expansion for 4G/5G LTE and  WIFI/BT(up to WIFI6).
